Neurodivergent Affirming Services
Counseling and Therapy
As a neurodivergent person, I know firsthand how challenging traditional somatic practices, mindfulness, and meditation can feel. The expectation to “quiet the mind” often left me frustrated, disconnected, and wondering what I was doing wrong. It wasn’t until I discovered Brainspotting that things shifted—suddenly, I had access to a modality that worked with my brain, not against it. It honored my inner world without demanding stillness or silence I couldn’t access, and it has offered the same for my clients.
This client-led modality guides the neurodivergent-affirming therapy that I offer. An expanding space that embraces identity exploration, celebrates self-understanding, and supports the process of unmasking. In this work, stimming, spiraling thoughts, nonlinear communication, and deep sensitivity are welcomed. Together, we build pathways toward thriving that reflect your actual needs, values, and strengths.

Diagnostic Assessments - launching in August 2025!
Waitlists are long for neuropsychological evaluations, and many waiting on those lists are simply seeking affirmation of what they already know; that they are ADHD, Autistic, or “AuDHD.”
My services bridge the gap between self diagnosis and a formal diagnosis via a neuropsychological evaluation. Whether you are looking for assessment for your own peace of mind, to receive recommendations for your healing journey, to expand your medication options with your prescriber, or to obtain a workplace or educational accommodation, I offer four unique services!
If you’re interested in a diagnostic assessment service for Autism and ADHD as a verbally fluent adult in Pennsylvania, please review the services below, and join the waitlist!

Formal Diagnostic Assessment
Many choose a formal assessment because it provides a focused, affirming, and accessible way to explore neurodivergence.
This type of assessment is conducted by a master’s level licensed therapist, assessing symptoms and experiences including communication, sensory interests, executive functioning using clinical interview and validated self report tools.
The final report provides diagnostic impression or results, a detailed sensory profile, treatment recommendations, and neurodivergent-affirming referrals and resources.
Many find that this type of assessment is sufficient to support their personal understanding, therapeutic goals in clinical settings including expanding medication options, or seeking accommodations at school or work.
Wait times are generally shorter—often just a few weeks.

Informal Diagnostic Assessment
This assessment offers a flexible, collaborative way to explore what’s going on beneath the surface without the structure or pressure of formal testing.
Through open conversation, clinical observation, and thoughtful questioning during the clinical interview, insight emerges naturally.
This approach can feel more comfortable and relational, especially for those who are neurodivergent, managing trauma, or unsure about the need to pursue a formal diagnosis.
Informal assessment supports clarity around patterns, struggles, and strengths without requiring labels or written reports, making it a useful option for those who are looking to deepen self-understanding, guide their counseling or therapy, or explore concerns in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
What’s included:
Brief Clinical Interview
Feedback Session

Sensory Profile Assessment
This assessment offers a structured yet accessible way to better understand how a person’s nervous system responds to sensory input—like sound, touch, movement, or visual stimulation—and how those responses may be impacting daily life.
This type of assessment can be especially helpful for individuals who are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or experiencing challenges with regulation, overwhelm, or focus.
Through questionnaires and discussion, the assessment highlights patterns of sensory seeking, sensitivity, avoidance, or registration, offering language and insight that can guide therapy, self-care, and daily adjustments.
While not diagnostic in itself, a sensory profile assessment can be a powerful tool for increasing self-awareness, validating lived experience, and tailoring environments or practices to better support well-being.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Consultation
This meeting can be a valuable alternative to a full assessment, especially for those who aren’t sure they need a formal or informal diagnostic process but still want the perspective from a specialist on what they’re experiencing.
This neurodivergent-affirming single session provides space to discuss concerns, ask questions, and receive tailored guidance without the structure of an assessment or commitment to an assessment process.
It’s ideal for individuals seeking clarity on whether to pursue further evaluation, wondering how their experiences might relate to trauma or neurodivergence, or looking for recommendations and resources to take with them.
The consultation offers insight and direction in a low-pressure format, serving as a thoughtful starting point for those still exploring their next steps.
