Individual Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to healing that honors the wisdom of the nervous system. My therapeutic work is grounded in my commitment to integrating client-led, expansive modalities that center lived experience, presence, and fluidity.
My philosophy of care is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and actively anti-oppressive. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to show up fully as themselves. My approach recognizes the impact of developmental trauma and systemic harm while also honoring each person’s inner knowing, history, culture, and capacity for transformation. I work relationally and collaboratively, modeling curiosity, compassion, and consent in the therapeutic process. Together, we create a space where your identity is celebrated, your autonomy is respected, and your growth is supported at your pace.
The therapeutic approaches that I offer value measurement-based care and feedback-informed care. These frameworks help ensure our work together stays grounded, responsive, and collaborative. Measurement tools can help us track your progress over time, while feedback practices invite your voice and perspective into each step of the process. My foundational modality is called Brainspotting, which embraces the uncertainty principle and dual attunement. This means that I will honor your insight, your story, and your wisdom as they are essential guides in shaping this relational work. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and these practices help keep our work aligned with what truly matters to you.
